Andrada Mining Limited has posted its strongest financial results to date, with gross profit more than doubling to £7.7 million (about N$170 million) for the financial year ended February 2026, powered by a surge in tin mining Namibia output and strengthening global commodity prices.

Revenue climbed 34% to £30.1 million (about N$662 million), a striking leap from £22.4 million (about N$492 million) the prior year - a performance that is turning heads both on the London Stock Exchange and across the Erongo region, where the Uis mine Namibia sits as the beating heart of the company's operations.

The turnaround story at Uis is one of disciplined execution meeting a favorable market moment.

Tin prices surged to historic highs driven by intensifying global demand for critical minerals used in electronics, electric vehicles, and energy storage, giving Andrada Mining Limited a powerful tailwind throughout the year.

The results represent far more than a single good year - they signal a company firmly outgrowing its single-commodity roots.

At the Uis mine, ore processed rose 8% to more than 1.04 million tonnes, while tin concentrate production jumped 15% to 1,740 tonnes - a record for the operation.

Contained tin output reached 1,036 tonnes, up 13% year-on-year, with the processing plant running at an average of 146 tonnes per hour, well above prior benchmarks.

The company also cut its operating loss to £2.6 million (about N$57.5 million), down from £3.9 million (about N$86.5 million), while earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation soared to £3.3 million (about N$73 million) from just £500,000 (about N$11 million) the year before.

What makes this momentum especially compelling is Andrada's deliberate pivot toward multi-mineral recovery at a single operation.

Tin remained the dominant revenue driver, contributing £28.8 million (about N$637 million) to total earnings, but tantalum added a meaningful secondary stream, and lithium is positioned as the next major opportunity waiting to be unlocked from the same Uis deposit.

The commissioning of a new 100-tonne-per-hour jig plant during the year - alongside secured funding for an ore-sorting circuit - reflects a company investing strategically, not just riding a price wave.

For a region like Erongo, where mining employment and local supply chains ripple outward into surrounding communities, this kind of capital commitment matters.

Andrada has also recently finalised a partnership giving it exposure to the Brandberg West tungsten deposit, broadening its critical minerals footprint in Namibia at a moment when tungsten prices have themselves hit record territory.

The European Investment Bank has backed the company with funding to support lithium integration studies at Uis, an endorsement that speaks to growing international confidence in Namibia's emerging role as a critical minerals supplier.

Chief executive Anthony Viljoen has been clear-eyed about the road ahead, framing the strategy around a shared infrastructure model - one mine, multiple revenue streams, lower unit costs.

It is an approach that, if sustained, could reshape the economic profile of tin mining in Namibia for years to come.

the EIB backing lithium studies there is actually a big deal. That kind of funding does not come cheap to get

one mine multiple revenue streams lower unit costs. That is a sensible model if they can keep executing

a lot of this is the tin price surge. Question is what happens when prices cool down. They always do

1.04 million tonnes processed and still room to grow. Curious how the ore sorting circuit will change things
